Carnivory incarnate is goddess of predators, hunters, and cats. The daughter of
Violence and Motherhood conceived via a consensual
affair, Carnivory was raised apart from the other Anthara: with her
birth, so too was born the desire in the gods to taste flesh. For millennia this
change appalled her kin, who now viewed their own children as prey; yet at some
point she was accepted back into the pantheon, and she is now regarded as an
equal of the other Anthara. A maiden goddess, Carnivory has never married or
mothered children, mortal or divine. She is particularly favored by the
predatory Mircasa, whose name is derived from hers.
