Long before the men of Nis Daksi became famed for their use of the
warbow, King Alric ordered seven lighthouses built around his new
island city kingdom, at that time named in honor of Love. Encircling
the mountain’s coast, these bladed towers resembled arrows so closely that the
city’s original name soon fell out of use. Those who discovered the newly
founded island saw no city of Love. They saw a City of Arrows.
