Language incarnate is god of writing, speech, and sorcery. Language invented the
first tongue and gave every god and all things in creation their true names,
thus binding them forever together through the arcane sorcery of the
Aith Elthrenyn. Fatherhood feared what language
could accomplish in the hands of the mortal races and forbade Language from
participating in the Age of Creation, but Language was not
deterred. In secret he devised the First Languages for the
Three Races, teaching them covertly to the small mortal tribes
that lived beneath the Anthara’s gaze. For this crime, Fatherhood
sentenced Language to an eternity of imprisonment.
