The Firstborn races are the Anthara’s first intelligent mortal
creations, born in solitude or small groups during the
Age of Creation. Most were considered to have been failures,
as the gods could not create rounded beings without working in full concert.
Their Soul Pantheons were badly imbalanced, and nearly all were mad. Today the
term “Firstborn” is synonymous with “monster.”
Among the Firstborn are the dogmatic Dragons made by Law, the insatiable Nymphs
birthed by Music and Love, the greedy Dwarfs bound in mud by Avarice, the bloody
Centaurs given shape by Violence, and the smoldering Infernals crafted by Forge’s
hammer.
